Mike Callaghan - President

Bigfork Web Development, Inc. was founded in 2003 by owner Mike Callaghan. Mike has been creating and developing software solutions since 1995. He has worked in the Bay area doing web development work for the financial services and real estate industry. Since founding Bigfork Web the company has grown and expanded, providing service to clients locally and worldwide.

Mike enjoys working with clients, merging their ideas and needs with our technical and creative capabilities to achieve a final product that enhances their businesses.

Mike believes strongly in giving back to the community. He is a past President of the Bigfork Chamber of Commerce and currently sits on the boards of the Community Foundation for a Better Bigfork and the Bigfork Promotion Group.

Mike, with his wife Emily and their two labs, Kaya & Zoe, enjoy being able to work and live in such a beautiful place such as Bigfork and Northwest Montana.

 

Jana L. Primmer - Senior Account Manager

From a fishing village on the coast of Maine, to the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, to the desert region of Oregon, Jana comes the long way around to finding the valley she now calls "Home".

With an extensive background in office administration and project management, Jana compliments the Bigfork Team with organization, efficiency and a drive to keep projects in forward motion. Jana's longevity and experience in a 12 year career with a fast-growing company in Oregon benefits Bigfork WEB as we ourselves grow and expand and seek to serve our clients well.

With a history of establishing life-long relationships with clients, Jana brings a personal and human side to the world of web development, facilitating communications between our developers and our customers for everyone's greater success.

Jana has fully embraced the wild and wondrous outdoor opportunities in the Flathead Valley, and is proud to make her home here with her husband, son and 3 dogs.

 

Steven Pittenger - Senior Programmer

Steven received his degree in Electronic Engineering from ITT Seattle in 1995, and was an advanced electronics systems engineer and satellite network communications engineer for the US Navy. In 2004 he decided to take his part-time web development company full time and has since served over 300 customers around the world.

After working freelance with us for some time, the team at BWD talked Steven into joining our staff full time in 2011 and taking on the challenging role of Senior Programmer. With specialties in eCommerce, cross-platform API integration, web applications and marketing, Steven has infused the BWD team with an impressive skillset as well as a positive and ambitious attitude.

Steven enjoys playing guitar, writing music and most of all, just being a Dad and spending time with his daughter.

 

Tracy Elliott - Graphic Designer & Website Developer

Tracy is a web designer who has been making things for the internet since 2003. She studied digital art at Broward College, where she worked on graphic and layout design for P'an Ku magazine and honed her programming skills creating websites for local businesses.

Currently in Chicago, she enjoys exploring the art culture of the big city and pursuing creative new design techniques as part of the Bigfork Web team.

 

Kayla Pierson - Graphic Designer & Website Developer

Kayla is now a Senior at The University of Montana, pursuing a Media Arts major and Computer Science minor. This mixture has allowed her to develop a unique and powerful skill set combining artistic application and technical functionally. After working for three years for a web design company on campus as a designer and developer, she joined Bigfork Web in her Junior year while still working out of Missoula to complete her studies.

Originally from Roberts, Montana, she plays golf, grew up fly-fishing, enjoys photography, and loves football. Go Griz!

 

Roberto Lopez - Senior ASP.Net & Windows Phone 7 Developer

Roberto Lopez has over 15 years of IT industry experience. Roberto has extensive SQL Server administration and database design expertise. Over the last decade he has gained experience in .Net programming implementing projects ranging from financial analytical tools for investment firms to fully automated reporting solutions for medical billing.

Roberto is a Microsoft Certified Professional and shares his expertise by volunteering and speaking at his local SQL Server user group and .Net programmer's user group.

 

Kevin Cole - System Administration

Coming from a programming background, Kevin started dealing with system administration in the late 90's when he was working with a team of programmers from the federal government. Kevin now manages a wide range of systems across the United States and began working with Bigfork Web in 2001. Before Bigfork Web, he learned a great deal about many different systems. Kevin particularly took a liking to the Linux operating system because of the flexibility, security, and functionality it offers in an Internet environment. Kevin really enjoys working with clients and developing solutions that make their business more productive and profitable.

Kevin, wife Nikki, and their dog Maia enjoy traveling. Every year they look forward to traveling some place new. Kevin also has become very fond of Jeeping in the Red Rock deserts of Utah.
